BECOME A MEMBER!
An annual membership to the Guild costs $25 for a household and/or $35 for a marketplace membership. Membership must be renewed annually and is effective one year from the date of purchase.
MEMBERSHIP HAS ITS BENEFITS!
Membership in the Permaculture Calgary Guild has many benefits.
All memberships get the following benefits:
- You are eligible for reduced entrance fees to select PCG and PCG partner events.
- Your name might be drawn for free entry to PCG and PCG partner events.
- You are able to host a Permablitz through the Guild and get help finding a willing permaculture crew to help you install a permaculture project on your land
- You have the opportunity to rent the Tool Trailer, which contains excavation tools and specialist survey equipment for your project
- You can post jobs (paid, intern and/or volunteer) on our job list.
- You can submit events to be posted to our Events Calendar
- You can view and participate in our members-only online forum.
- Your membership fee goes directly towards building local resilience in Calgary.
- You get to meet, connect & socialize with other like-minded individuals in Calgary.
- You get DISCOUNTS!! See our Members Discount page for a listing of businesses and organizations offering perks and discounts to PCG members.
Marketplace memberships were designed to meet the needs of our business and/or our enterprising individual members. Marketplace members get a few extra benefits:
- You get listed on our public Marketplace page, along with a description of the products or services that you offer to the community.
- In our monthly newsletters we will highlight our Marketplace members.
- As we start building out the Permablitz network, we will encourage homeowners to look for permaculture designers and other services on our Marketplace page.
- If you host or offer workshops or events we can have your Facebook events automatically import into the PCG Calendar (no more need to submit events twice!).
- And remember that we will highlight all event listed in our calendar in our monthly newsletter.
